GACL gets recognition as top performer designated consumer for Chlor Alkali

GACL has received a National Award for its Dahej Complex from the hands of MNRE Minister RK Singh

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) said in a regulatory filing on Thursday that "the company has received a National Award for its Dahej Complex from the hands of MNRE Minister RK Singh under the category of "Top Performer Designated Consumer for Chlor Alkali Sector of Perform Achieve & Trade (PAT) Cycle II under National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE)."

"The certificate was presented to the company on March 1 on the occasion of 21st BEE Foundation Day and celebration of 1st Decade of PAT Scheme," said the filing.
