GAIL (India) Limited’s CMD Sandeep Kumar Gupta has been elected as the new Chairman of SCOPE while, Goa Shipyard Limited’s CMD Brajesh Kumar Upadhyay has been elected as Vice Chairman

New Delhi: Results of SCOPE Biennial Elections 2023-25 were declared by Standing Conference of Public Enterprises’ (SCOPE) Director General and Returning Officer Atul Sobti in the presence of members of Public Sector Enterprises and contestants. The newly elected SCOPE Executive Board will assume office from April 1, 2023.

While announcing the results, Sobti said that SCOPE continues to witness enthusiastic participation of its member PSEs, in the SCOPE Board elections, which reiterates the faith of our members in SCOPE’s endeavours as the apex body of PSEs in India.

As per the results declared, GAIL (India) Limited’s CMD Sandeep Kumar Gupta has been elected as the new Chairman of SCOPE. While, Goa Shipyard Limited’s CMD Brajesh Kumar Upadhyay has been elected as Vice Chairman.

Other members elected to the Executive Board of SCOPE are: Indian Oil’s Director (Planning & Business Development) Sujoy Choudhury; GAIL (India) Limited’s Director (HR) Ayush Gupta; NTPC Limited’s Director (HR) Dillip Kumar Patel; WAPCOS CMD Rajni Kant Agrawal; SAIL’s Director (Personnel) Krishna Kumar Singh; NHPC’s Director (Finance) Rajendra Prasad Goyal; Power Grid’s  Director (Operations) Ravindra Kumar Tyagi; MOIL Limited’s Director (HR) Usha Singh; Coal India Limited’s Director (P&IR) Vinay Ranjan; NBCC (India) Limited’s Director (Finance) Baldev Kaur Sokhey; NMDC Limited’s Director (Finance) Amitava Mukherjee; Balmer Lawrie’s CMD Adika Ratna Sekhar; Cotton Corpn. of India Ltd’s CMD Lalit Kumar Gupta; ITDC’s Director (Finance) Lokesh Kumar Aggarwal; EdCIL’s CMD Manoj Kumar; ONGC’s Director (T&FS) Om Prakash Singh; BEL’s CMD, Addl. The newly elected board taking over at a propitious time, as SCOPE turns 50, aims at undertaking a wide spectrum of activities aligned with the core values and vision of SCOPE.
