New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Chairman and Managing Director Cmde PR Hari (Retd.) has been conferred the ‘Lifetime Contribution Award – Jury Honour’ at the inaugural ET Infra Global Ports & Shipping Awards 2026 in Mumbai.

The award has been presented by Maharashtra Minister of Fisheries and Ports Development Nitish Narayan Rane at an event held at Taj Santacruz on September 11.

The recognition honours Cmde PR Hari’s leadership and sustained contribution to India’s maritime sector. Under his leadership, GRSE, a Navratna defence public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has strengthened its operational capabilities, expanded its business portfolio and recorded growth across shipbuilding and engineering activities.

The ‘Lifetime Contribution Award – Jury Honour’ recognises maritime professionals with more than 25 years of experience and significant contributions to the sector, including leadership, institution building, sectoral impact and long-term legacy.

The ET Infra Global Ports & Shipping Awards 2026 brought together policymakers, industry leaders and maritime professionals to recognise achievements across ports, shipping, shipbuilding, logistics and allied sectors.
