GRSE receives ‘GeM Advocate’ award for digital procurement

GRSE has received the ‘GeM Advocate’ Award at the 10th Foundation Day celebrations of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi

New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has received the ‘GeM Advocate’ Award at the 10th Foundation Day celebrations of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

The award was presented by Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and received by Cmde Rajat Nagar, IN (Retd), Chief General Manager (Commercial), on behalf of GRSE.

The award recognises GRSE’s sustained adoption of the GeM platform for procurement and its efforts to strengthen transparency and efficiency in its sourcing processes. The shipyard has leveraged the platform to streamline its digital procurement practices and facilitate a more efficient sourcing ecosystem.
