New Delhi: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) inaugurated Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 under the theme ‘Probity for Prosperity’, reaffirming its commitment to integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical governance.

Justice K. N. Phaneendra, Upalokayukta of Karnataka and former judge of the Karnataka High Court, attended the inaugural event as the chief guest. Ravi K, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of HAL, was the guest of honour, while Geeta Mohapatra, Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer and Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of HAL, was also present.

Addressing the gathering, Justice Phaneendra emphasised the importance of upholding values and ethics in everyday life. He also described HAL as a jewel of India's defence sector.

Ravi K reiterated the company's commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical governance in its operations.

Mohapatra stressed the need for uncompromising integrity in action and ethics-driven decision-making to achieve sustained prosperity and contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Two magazines, ‘Marg Darshan’ and ‘Disha’, were released during the event. Around 800 participants, including senior officers, management and design trainees, and schoolchildren, attended the programme.
