HIL launches a customer payment portal

HIL (India) Limited in association with Union Bank of India has launched a customer payment portal to collect the payment from its customers through various online modes

New Delhi: Keeping pace with the government's vision of "Digital India," HIL (India) Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Chemical & Fertilizers, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, in association with Union Bank of India, has launched customer payment portal to collect the payment from its customers through various online modes for faster and smoother collection of dues.

The portal has been launched by HIL (India) Limited's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Dr SP Mohanty Director (Finance) Anjan Banerjee and Union Bank of India's Head of Government Business Department RK Jaglan and Regional Head (South Delhi) GK Sudhakar Rao in New Delhi.

This portal will help the customers of HIL to pay their dues in a quick and convenient manner by any debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI or online wallets from their homes or offices. This new initiative will provide one-step platform facilitating online payment, data maintenance, customized MIS report and seamless reconciliation of financial records.

HIL (India) Limited formerly known as Hindustan Insecticides Limited (HIL), a PSU under the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. The company was incorporated in March 1954 with the objective of supplying Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) for the National Malaria Eradication Programme launched by the government of India. Subsequently, the company diversified into agro pesticides to meet the requirements of the agriculture sector and has grown manifold with a turnover of Rs 450.74 crores in the year 2018-19. Presently the company is also operating in agro inputs namely agro-chemicals, seeds and recently it ventured into fertilizers so that all the requirement of the farming community can be met under one roof.
