HSL celebrated 86th Foundation Day

HSL inaugurated renovated office facilities aimed at improving workplace infrastructure and operational efficiency

New Delhi: Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) celebrated its 86th Foundation Day, marking over eight decades of contribution to nation building and reaffirming its commitment to innovation, operational excellence and strengthening India’s maritime capabilities.

As part of the celebrations, HSL inaugurated renovated office facilities aimed at improving workplace infrastructure and operational efficiency. The facilities were inaugurated by Capt. Ganti Venkateswarlu (IN Retd.), Chairman and Managing Director (Additional Charge).

In a move to promote knowledge sharing and process standardisation, the shipyard released eleven departmental publications. HSL also launched a dashboard-based Sea Trials Management System as part of its digital transformation initiatives to streamline sea trial management and enhance operational efficiency.

Addressing employees on the occasion, Capt. Ganti Venkateswarlu said that HSL’s success is the result of the dedication and collective efforts of generations of employees who have built the organisation into a strong institution. He highlighted the company’s highest-ever financial performance and several major operational achievements, besides outlining employee welfare initiatives introduced in recent months.

He stressed the need to sustain growth through innovation, discipline and teamwork, while appreciating the contributions of employees and business partners. He said that HSL’s strength lies in its people, professional culture and strong business ecosystem, adding that business partners should continue to grow alongside the shipyard in the nation-building journey.
