In a formal exchange of New Year greetings, the HSL's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Cmde Hemant Khatri interacted with representatives from various recognized unions. Addressing the gathering, the CMD highlighted 2025 as a pivotal ‘Year of Reforms’ for the shipyard. He underscored the organization’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge technologies such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics. These initiatives align with the government’s 2025 vision articulated by the Defence Minister, aiming to enhance operational efficiency, fortify security, and contribute to India’s digital transformation journey.

The celebrations extend beyond January 1, with a series of events planned to engage employees and their families. On January 2, a cultural program will be held at the HSL Colony, fostering community spirit. The following day, January 3, HSL officers will convene for a Meet and Greet event, where the shipyard’s Strategic Vision 2025-2034 will be unveiled. This comprehensive roadmap aligns with the National Vision 2047 and the Maritime India Vision (MIV) 2030, outlining HSL’s contributions to national growth and maritime excellence.

HSL steps into 2025 with a renewed focus on innovation, unity, and strategic development, embodying its commitment to progress and nation-building, it said in an official note.
