HSL wins 2 awards at 5th PSU Transformation Annual Awards

HSL has bagged two prestigious honours at the 5th PSU Transformation Annual Awards, held in New Delhi

New Delhi: Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has bagged two prestigious honours at the 5th PSU Transformation Annual Awards, held in New Delhi on December 19, in recognition of its innovation-led initiatives and digital transformation efforts.

HSL secured the Gold Distinction under the Innovation Impact Award category for its project titled “Innovative In-House Modification of Die Set for Corrugation of Bulkheads.” The company also received the Silver Distinction under the Digital Dynamo Award category for “Digitalization of Steel Cut Pieces Segregation Using QR Barcoding.”

The awards were received on behalf of HSL by N Ashok Kumar, Chief General Manager (Production), and P Naresh Ravi Kumar, Manager (Hull Systems).

The recognition highlights HSL’s continued focus on leveraging indigenous innovation and digital solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity in shipbuilding and ship repair operations. The company reaffirmed its commitment to driving innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence across its core areas of business.
