HSL wins five awards at CCQC-2025, showcasing commitment to quality and innovation

Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has secured five prestigious awards at the 25th Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC-2025)

New Delhi/Visakhapatnam: Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has secured five prestigious awards at the 25th Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC-2025), organised by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), Visakhapatnam Chapter. The convention, held on Friday, celebrated excellence under the theme “Atma Nirbhar Vikasit Bharat”, highlighting self-reliance and national development.

HSL bagged two Gold Awards for its innovative contributions in the installation of Azimuth Retractable Thrusters in the Diving Support Vessel and the restoration of condemned forklifts. The company also won three Silver Awards for its work on the mitigation strategy for leaks in gas plants, the development of a digital asset booking system, and defect rectification of the Moonpool Door hydraulic hose in the Diving Support Vessel.

The award-winning teams were led by GM (Commercial) D Srinivas Rao and were recognised for their efforts in driving quality improvement and operational efficiency.

This achievement reflects HSL’s commitment to continuous innovation, operational excellence, and its contribution towards India’s maritime growth and self-reliance.
