In his inaugural address, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored the strategic importance of India Energy Week, stating that IEW is not merely a conference, but a global platform where world leaders, policymakers, industry captains, and innovators come together to shape the future of energy. He emphasized India’s growing leadership role in driving the global energy transition through collaboration, innovation, and scale.

The Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) also highlighted the significance of the state-of-the-art infrastructure created for IEW 2026. He acknowledged the extraordinary efforts involved in developing these world-class facilities in record time, noting that the project stands as a strong symbol of India’s capability to plan and deliver global-scale energy infrastructure with speed and quality.

Engineers India Limited (EIL) was entrusted with this challenging and time-bound assignment. Working within an exceptionally compressed timeline of just nine months, EIL successfully delivered the integrated convention infrastructure, setting a new benchmark in project execution excellence for international events.

The infrastructure developed by EIL for IEW 2026 includes the Convention Centre “Prithvi”, Management Development Facility “Aakash”, Exhibition Hall “Vayu”, along with a utility building and supporting infrastructure.

Together, these facilities provide a modern, efficient, and globally comparable platform capable of hosting high-level international engagements at scale.

EIL CMD Vartika Shukla highlighted that the successful delivery of this project reflects EIL’s deep commitment to world-class engineering and project management excellence. She stated that EIL continues to strengthen its position as one of the most trusted and capable consultancy organizations, delivering complex infrastructure with precision, speed, and value.

CMD further emphasized that EIL’s work at IEW 2026 aligns strongly with the Prime Minister’s vision of “Local to Global”, demonstrating how Indian engineering expertise is expanding its horizons and setting new standards, not only for domestic projects but also for global benchmarks.

The successful execution of the IEW 2026 infrastructure stands as a powerful testament to India’s engineering capability, institutional collaboration, and readiness to host and lead global conversations on the future of energy.
