IGL wins big; bags four PNGRB Excellence Award 2025

PNGRB has recognised Indraprastha Gas Limited's (IGL) stellar performance in City Gas Distribution, Delhi with four awards at the PNGRB Excellence Award 2025

New Delhi: Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has been recognised for its outstanding performance with four awards from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) at the 19th PNGRB Foundation Day held on October 6. The awards were presented to IGL by Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, during an award ceremony in New Delhi. IGL is a leading provider of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in India.

The company has received accolades for 'overall best performance and operational excellence in city gas distribution' (Pre-PNGRB Category) for the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi. Additionally, IGL has been honored for its commitment to safety, iIntegrity, and technical excellence, as well as for overall best performance in the Ghaziabad & Hapur Districts.

The awards highlight IGL’s role in promoting cleaner energy alternatives, which aligns with the government’s vision of increasing the use of natural gas in India’s energy mix. By providing reliable and sustainable energy solutions, IGL contributes significantly to reducing the environmental impact of urban transportation and domestic fuel use.

In response to the accolades IGL's Managing Director Kamal Kishore Chatiwal expressed his gratitude and credited the achievements to the hard work and dedication of the entire IGL team. “These awards are a reflection of our unwavering commitment to excellence and our continuous efforts to enhance the quality of service and safety standards provided to our customers,” he remarked.
