Integrated Material Management (IMM) Manual - 2023 and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on the disciplinary proceedings of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) were released by CMD

New Delhi: Integrated Material Management (IMM) Manual - 2023 and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on disciplinary proceeding of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) were released by BDL’s Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Cmde. Siddharth Mishra (Retd) at a special event organised at BDL on Wednesday.

BDL’s Director (Production) P Radha Krishna, Director (Finance) N Srinivasulu, Director (Technical) Cmde. A Madhavarao (Retd.), CVO Dr Upender Vennam (IPoS), General Managers and Senior Executives were present in the event.

IMM Manual guides executives regarding procurement of goods & services in the company. The IMM Manual - 2023 of the company has been revised in-line with the Manual issued by Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance and directives of Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).

Conducting Departmental Inquiry is a major activity as part of disciplinary proceedings procedures against an executive. The primary objective of “SOP on conducting Departmental Inquiry” is to help the inquiring authority, presenting officer and the charge employee to follow proper procedure to elicit the truth through inquiry process. The SOP authored by Dr Vennam is to meet the desired objectives.
