Indian Oil’s Arvind Kumar honoured with SCOPE Eminence Awards

Indian Oil's Director (Refineries) with additional charge of Director (Pipelines) Arvind Kumar has been conferred with the SCOPE Eminence Award for Individual Leadership Excellence

New Delhi: Indian Oil's Director (Refineries) with additional charge of Director (Pipelines) Arvind Kumar has been conferred with the SCOPE Eminence Award for Individual Leadership Excellence (Miniratna I & II PSEs) for 2022–23. The award has been presented by President of India Droupadi Murmu at Vigyan Bhavan in recognition of his transformational leadership and stellar performance during his tenure as Managing Director of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL).

Alongside, Mamoni Basumatary, General Manager (Technical) at Indian Oil Refineries Headquarters, received the SCOPE Award for Outstanding Women Leadership.

During his leadership at CPCL, Kumar steered the company to record operational and financial achievements, secured its elevation to “Schedule A” status, and earned wide industry appreciation for its performance. With over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, he has been instrumental in driving large-scale refining and petrochemical projects, earning recognition for his visionary leadership across the industry.
