International Women’s Day celebrations at NMDC

NMDC is celebrating International Women’s Day in a unique way with all women employees, executives, contract workers, apprentices and other women consultants from the organisation

Hyderabad: For NMDC Limited every day is Women's Day. NMDC believes in women empowerment and plans to celebrate International Women's Day in a unique way with all women employees, executives, contract workers, apprentices and other women consultants from the organisation and highlight their contribution to family, society, organisation and Nation #HarKeKaamDeshKeNaam. NMDC plans for a week-long program starting from March 2 to March 7.

On March 2, a competition was organised for women employees, staff and trainees. The NMDC team visited Kasthurba Ashram and distributed fruits on March 3. Yoga and Health Wellness programme by Jayganaga from Life Coaching Academy, Odisha is arranged for March 4 and 5. The event will continue on 6th March with felicitation of nursing students undergoing training under Balika Shiksha Yojna and motivational talk. The program will conclude on March 7, that will be graced by Former Justice T Meena Kumari and several renowned speakers will share their views on 'I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women's Rights.' The organisation is celebrating womanhood by gifting flowers, chocolates and tokens of appreciation to the women employees all through the week.

On March 4, at Kasturba Ashram, NMDC cherished moments of togetherness with needy women and children by distributing fruits & there were lively discussions on women empowerment.

The week-long programmes will be graced by CMD, Functional Directors and senior executives of NMDC Limited.
