International Women’s Day celebrations in EdCIL

The celebration included discussions on Women Empowerment & gender equality, showcasing various talents and games by women employees

New Delhi: EdCIL celebrated International Women's Day on March 6, with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The programme has been inaugurated with lighting of the lamp by EdCIL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Manoj Kumar, Executive Director Dr KL Sarkar along with women employees. EdCIL's CMD addressed on the theme of 2020 – "I am generation equality: realizing women's right" emphasizing the importance of women in society and their empowerment. This was followed by cake cutting and distribution of gift cards to women employees by CMD. The celebration included discussions on Women Empowerment & gender equality, showcasing various talents and games by women employees. Prizes were distributed to winners.
