IOCL & Udayan Care to setup IT Learning Centre for youth

IndianOil and Udayan Care join hands to setup an IT Learning Centre at Ghaziabad for imparting digital education and skill training to underprivileged youths

Ghaziabad: An IT learning centre has come up at Loni, Ghaziabad for imparting digital education and skill training to underprivileged youths in the area. IndianOil, the country's flagship Oil Company joined hands with Udayan Care, a public charitable trust which works to empower vulnerable children, women and youth, to set up the centre which will provide digital education and upgrade skills of young students. IndianOil under its CSR programme has provided Desktop PC's and peripherals, tables and chairs, projectors, water filter cum purifier along with fabrication of the IT Lab. The centre was inaugurated by IndianOil's Executive Director (UPSO-II) Vinay Kumar Misra.

Currently, around 35 students have enrolled themselves for various courses at the IT Learning Centre. The centre intends to educate and train nearly 350 students in its first year of operation and will be run and managed by Udayan Care.
