NBCC wins IBC Award for Ambedkar International Centre

New Delhi: The state-run Navratna PSU NBCC (India) Limited has been awarded 'IBC Awards 2017-19' recently. Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs (I/c) Hardeep Singh Puri gave away the IBC Awards for Excellence in Built Environment 2017-19 to NBCC (India) Limited on January 6, 2020. NBCC Limited's Chairman and Managing Director PK Gupta received the award at a function held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The Award was bestowed on NBCC for the execution of the iconic project – Dr Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. On the occasion, NBCC Limited's former CMD Anoop Kumar Mittal and other senior officials were also present.

NBCC (India) Limited is a Navratna enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The PSU is certified with ISO 9001:2015 from the Bureau of Indian Standards in respect of project management and consultancy. The company's present areas of operations are categorised into three main segments: Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Real Estate Development and EPC Contracting.

NBCC acquired 100 per cent stake in Miniratna hospital consultancy firm Hospital Services Consultancy Corporation Limited (HSCC) from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on November 6, 2018. The organisation acquired over 51 percent stake in Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL), a PSU under the Steel Ministry in 2017.
