New Delhi: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), the flagship Subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL), is all set to host the 'Singrauli Industry Summit-2024,' scheduled for August 3, 2024, at the company’s HQ.
NCL, the major player in the Singrauli Region is organising the Singrauli Industry Summit 2024 with the primary objective to bring all industry players across the greater Singrauli region at a single platform to harness the Industrial Potential of Singrauli.
This platform will enable industries to deliberate on the opportunities and challenges in the region, fostering cooperation among businesses, government departments, and others to unify the efforts for the noble cause of sustainable development with regional balance.
This platform will serve as a robust facilitator where major regional players associated with coal, electricity, chemical, cement, aluminum, and other related industries along with government departments and experts are expected to participate. This innovative initiative of NCL will give impetus to the integrated development of the Singrauli region along with industrial development and business diversification.
Over 200 Delegates from all Industries and State & Central Government officials are expected to attend the summit. The conference will have presentation sessions from different domains of the industry, briefing of govt policies followed by panel discussions.
Singrauli Region the 'Energy Capital of India, is a crucial industrial hub that significantly contributes to the Nation's energy security with coal production of over 150 Million Tonnes and Power Generation of over 22000 MW. The region's extensive coal mining operations, major thermal power plants, aluminum manufacturing, other small-scale industries, and availability of raw materials underscore its strategic importance.
NCL the biggest giant in Singrauli is committed to multiple initiatives that support the region's development and prosperity through job opportunities from Coal Mining and direct & indirect business to local, and vast canvas for CSR initiatives. NCL is producing over 135 million tonnes of coal with its 10 highly mechanized mines located in the Singrauli region. NCL plays a significant role in the country's energy security with sustainable mining practices and contributes to socio-economic development initiatives.
