New Delhi: NHPC Limited has successfully organised the second edition of ‘Gyanankan – The Business Quiz’ as part of its organisational development initiatives. The event aimed to encourage employees to stay updated with the **latest business jargons, current affairs, and global advancements while fostering innovative and creative thinking among them.

The second edition of ‘Gyanankan – The Business Quiz’ received an overwhelming response** from NHPC employees across its Regional Offices, Power Stations, Projects, and Units. The preliminary round saw enthusiastic participation from employees across NHPC’s various locations in India, setting the stage for an exciting competition.

The Semi-Final and Grand Finale rounds were conducted on March 18, at NHPC’s Corporate Office in Faridabad. The Grand Finale was graced by Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC, as the Chief Guest. The final rounds featured six teams competing in a thrilling contest covering a wide range of topics from the business and corporate world to general knowledge. The intense quizzing action kept the audience highly engaged and entertained.

Winners of ‘Gyanankan – The Business Quiz’

Winners: Abdul Hadi, Manager (Electrical), and Deepak, Deputy Manager (Mechanical), from Sewa-II Power Station (J&K).

First Runners-Up: Siddhi Vinayak, General Manager (Civil), Dhauliganga Power Station (Uttarakhand), and C Vinod, Senior Manager (Electrical), Sewa Power Station (J&K).

Second Runners-Up: T Marconi Singh, Senior Manager (IT), and Ajay Acharya, Manager (Electrical), from Loktak Power Station (Manipur).

The quiz was conducted by renowned quizmasters, SPS Jaggi, Former Director (P&A), Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), and Deepak Taneja, AGM (Corporate Communications), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).
