NTPC Dadri celebrates 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervour

New Delhi: NTPC Dadri marked the 79th Independence Day with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at the Maharana Pratap Stadium in its township, celebrating achievements and reinforcing its commitment to national progress.

NTPC Dadri's Executive Director and Head of Project Chandramouli Kasina hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering, reflecting on NTPC Dadri’s performance over the past year. He highlighted key achievements across departments and urged employees to strive for greater heights for both the station and the nation.

The event was attended by senior officials including AK Mishra, CGM (O&M), N Srinivas, GM (UFSC – Finance Treasury), PR Kumar, GM (Maintenance), Sanjay Kumar, GM (FM), GC Tripathi, GM (RLI), Wilson Abraham, GM (HR), BK Behera, CMO (NTPC Dadri Hospital), Durga Kumari, President (Jagriti Samaj), and RP Singh, Commandant (CISF), along with employees, township residents, teachers, students and their families.

Highlights of the celebration included cultural performances by township school students, a mock drill demonstration by CISF personnel, and an award ceremony recognising outstanding contributions by employees, students and CISF members.

Patriotic songs, a tricolour-themed ambience, and a strong sense of unity made the occasion a vibrant celebration of national pride.
