NTPC Kanti wins Global Water Tech Award 2025

NTPC Kanti has been honoured with the Global Water Tech Award 2025 under the category “Industrial Water Efficiency & Sustainable Transformation Initiative of the Year”

New Delhi: NTPC Kanti has been honoured with the Global Water Tech Award 2025 under the category “Industrial Water Efficiency & Sustainable Transformation Initiative of the Year”. The award has been conferred by the Global Energy and Environment Foundation (GEEF), New Delhi, with support from the Ministry of Jal Shakti.

The award was presented to Yogesh Singla, AGM (EEMG), MTPS Kanti, by Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, during the Global Water Tech Summit 2025, held on 29th August in New Delhi.

This recognition acknowledges NTPC Kanti’s remarkable initiatives in water conservation and sustainable water management. The station has undertaken several impactful measures, including advanced wastewater treatment, reuse of treated water, and extensive community awareness campaigns aimed at promoting responsible water usage.

The GEEF Global Water Tech Awards are presented annually to celebrate excellence and leadership in innovation, conservation, and sustainable development within the water sector.

By receiving this honour, NTPC Kanti has once again reinforced its commitment towards environmental stewardship and sustainable industrial practices, aligning with NTPC’s vision of building a cleaner and greener future.
