NTPC Vindhyachal wins Platinum at IBC OHS&E Awards 2026

New Delhi: NTPC Limited’s Vindhyachal station has been awarded the Platinum Trophy at the IBC Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHS&E) Excellence Awards 2026 in the Fire Safety Excellence category for manufacturing organisations.

The award has been presented at the IBC HSE Summit-cum-Award Ceremony held in Mumbai on April 30, recognising the station’s commitment to maintaining high standards in occupational health, safety and environmental practices.

The accolade highlights Vindhyachal’s focus on fostering a strong safety culture and its adoption of advanced technologies to ensure a safe and sustainable workplace. The recognition is seen as a benchmark achievement for the power sector and reinforces NTPC’s leadership in safety and sustainability.

The award has been received by the Deputy General Manager (O&M Civil) Biswajeet Deori on behalf of the station.
