New Delhi: World Environment Day 2024 celebrations were held at Coal India Limited's (CIL) corporate office with Chairman, Coal India PM Prasad hoisting the Environment Flag, and administering the Environment Day pledge to the employees.

Coal India's Director (P&IR) Vinay Ranjan, Director (Technical) Dr B Veera Reddy, Director (Business Development) Debasish Nanda, Director (Marketing) Mukesh Choudhary, Director (Finance) Mukesh Agrawal and Chief Vigilance Officer Brajesh Kumar Tripathy were present on the occasion.

Prasad speaking on the occasion highlighted the company’s commitment to environment sustainability. He emphasized that as a responsible corporation, Coal India must work diligently to nurture nature for a green and sustainable future.

CILows also participated in the World Environment Day celebrations at its headquarters.
