PFC gets ‘PSU Award’ for resilient growth

PFC has been awarded "Governance Now PSU Awards 2019" in the category of “Resilient Growth" at the 7th Governance Now awards function held in New Delhi

New Delhi: Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Power, has been conferred "Governance Now PSU Award" in the category of "Resilient Growth," at the '7th Governance Now PSU Awards' function held in New Delhi on February 19.

PFC's Director (Commercial) PK Singh and Director (Projects) RS Dhillon received this award from Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises (HI&PE) Arjun Ram Meghwal and Shailesh Lodha (An Actor, Comedian and Writer). On the occasion, Kailashnath Adhikari of 'Governance Now' was also present.

Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC)

PFC is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power. PFC was named Asia's most trusted companies for 2019 by IBC. PFC was given the coveted title based on comprehensive research conducted by IBC, a division of the international brand consulting corporation bases in the USA.

PFC has been conferred the title of a 'Navratna CPSE' in June 2007 and was classified as an Infrastructure Finance Company by the RBI on July 28, 2010. PFC is playing a crucial role in the rise of India as a global player.
