POSOCO's Director (HR) Meenakshi Davar has been conferred with "PRCI Chanakya Award" for her immense contribution towards Innovation in HR

Banglore: Power System Operation Corporation's (POSOCO) Director (HR) Meenakshi Davar has been honoured with "PRCI Chanakya Award" for her immense contribution towards Innovation in HR. The Award was presented to her during the 14th Global Communication Conclave organised by Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) at Banglore recently. The awards ceremony graced by Basavraj Bommai (Minister of Home, Govt of Karnataka) Justice HN Nagmohan Das (Former Justice of High Court of Karnataka) and N Bhaskar Rao, Commissioner of Police, Bangalore.

About Meenakshi Davar's 

Davar is an MBA from the University of Hull, UK and a postgraduate from the University of Delhi. She is also a Diploma holder in Industrial Psychology. She is a certified trainer of soft skills. She has been appointed as Director (HR) in December 2017. Prior to this, She was serving as Executive Director (HR) in POWERGRID. She is the recipient of Amity's Women Achiever Award 2016 in the area of HR.

In 2017 she received the 'Women Persona – InWENA of the Decade '– Public Sector Enterprises Award for contribution to the Power Sector and Public Sector at large across functions like Human Resource, Corporate Social Responsibility, Technical Planning, Resourcing, etc. She has spent her last 37 years in the HR function, first nine years in NTPC Limited and then in POWERGRID. She has handled all areas of HR including appraisals and promotions, training, establishment, policy, industrial relations, manpower planning and administration.
