Power Grid observes Vigilance Awareness Week across India

Power Grid is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from October 27 to November 2 across its more than 300 establishments nationwide

New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from October 27 to November 2 across its more than 300 establishments nationwide.

The observance commenced with the administration of the 'Integrity Pledge' by Dr Ravindra Kumar Tyagi, CMD of Power Grid, at the Corporate Office in Gurugram. The event was attended by G Ravisankar, Director (Finance); Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel); Naveen Srivastava, Director (Operations); Burra Vamsi Rama Mohan, Director (Projects); and Naveen Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer, along with senior officials and employees.

In alignment with this year’s theme, “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” Power Grid organised a Walkathon at its Corporate Office, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees. The activity was followed by a Nukkad Natak (street play) at the Corporate Office and nearby areas, spreading the message of integrity and collective responsibility among employees and the local community.

As part of the week-long observance, Power Grid is conducting a series of activities across its regional offices and substations, including Lok Geet performances, Cyclothons, Puppet Shows, Gram Sabhas, Slogan Writing and Drawing Competitions, and Debates. These initiatives aim to reinforce the values of integrity, transparency, and accountability, while promoting a culture of vigilance to build a corruption-free society.
