RailTel wins ET Govt PSU Leadership & Excellence Awards 2024

New Delhi: RailTel won the ET Government PSU Leadership & Excellence Awards 2024 in 'Leadership in Digital Transformation' category. Dr Jitendra Singh, Union MoS (Ind. Charge) Science & Technology; Earth Sciences; MoS PMO, PP/DoPT, Atomic Energy, Space, presented the award in a gala ceremony of 5th ET Govt National PSU Summit 2024.

This prestigious award was conferred by Economic Times PSU recognising outstanding achievements of PSUs across a large spectrum.

RailTel received this award for successfully implementing the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) for Indian Railways. This system, deployed across 709 railway healthcare facilities, significantly improves hospital administration and patient care through the maintenance of electronic medical records. RailTel has also developed teleconsultation and beneficiary apps that are seamlessly integrated with HMIS, empowering medical beneficiaries.

Additionally, HMIS has been integrated with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), further enhancing healthcare capabilities. This implementation has made the healthcare system of Indian Railways faster and more efficient.
