REC and RECPDCL bag top honours at D&B PSU Summit; REC also wins Sustainability Icons Award 2025

New Delhi: REC Limited, a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, and its wholly owned subsidiary REC Power Development & Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) have received multiple prestigious recognitions, reaffirming their leadership in financial services and power sector development.

At the Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) 17th PSU & Government Summit 2025, REC Limited was awarded the Best Financial Services Company in the Central PSU category, while RECPDCL secured the Best Power Transmission Company award in the same category. These accolades underscore REC’s robust financial performance and contribution to key infrastructure and energy projects, as well as RECPDCL’s pivotal role as a Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) and consultant in advancing power transmission infrastructure across the country.

REC Honoured with Sustainability Icons Awards 2025 for Excellence in ESG Initiatives

T.S.C. Bosh, CEO of RECPDCL and Executive Director of REC Ltd., accepted both awards at the summit.

In a parallel recognition, REC Limited was also conferred the Sustainability Icons Award 2025 for excellence in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. The award was presented by Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law & Justice, at a ceremony in New Delhi on September 27, 2025. Awanish Kumar Bharati, General Manager (Finance), received the award on behalf of REC.

The Sustainability Icons Award highlights REC’s sustained commitment to integrating ESG principles into its operations, driving innovation, and supporting India’s transition towards a greener and more inclusive future.
