New Delhi: REC Limited, through its CSR arm REC Foundation, has been conferred the GEEF Global CSR Award 2026 for “CSR Excellence in Sports Development & Inclusion 2026” at the Global WaterTech Summit 2026 held in New Delhi.

The award recognises REC’s efforts to leverage sports as a tool for youth empowerment, social inclusion and community development, while creating opportunities for aspiring sporting talent across the country.

Through its CSR initiatives in the sports sector, REC Foundation has focused on nurturing sporting talent, promoting inclusivity and providing young people with avenues to develop their potential. The company said its interventions are aimed at contributing to a more inclusive and empowered society by supporting sports development at the grassroots and community levels.
