REIL & SPAI to develop skills & training centre for human life safety

REIL and SPAI, Jaipur have signed an MoU for the development of skills and training centre in REIL for human life safety, environmental management, fire safety and disaster management

Jaipur: Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL) and Safety Professionals Association of India (SPAI), Jaipur have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop skills and training centre in REIL for human life safety, environmental management, fire safety and disaster management. The MoU has been signed by GRSE's Additional General Manager Sanjeev Kumar and National President of SPAI AK Singh in the presence of REIL's Managing Director Dr AK Jain. On this occasion, the REIL's Executive Director Piyush Paliwal, General Manager Rakesh Chopra and RK Gupta were also present.

There is a need of approximately five lakh qualified security professionals and disaster management in industry and commercial organisations in view of the increasing arson incidents in various institutions. Workshops for skill development and other training will be organised at the company's new building, information technology, education, training, research and development and development centre "REIL House" Shipra Path, Mansarovar, Jaipur. Courses related to important issues like human life safety, environmental management, fire safety, disaster and emergency management, road safety, health and food security and related audits etc. courses focused by the state and central government.

REIL's Managing Director Dr AK Jain said that safety awareness in the industry, capacity building for security in the organisation, benefits of security measures and information regarding disaster management is the need of the hour. He also informed that REIL has various training courses and awareness in collaboration with approved agency of technical experts in this field. The "REIL House" has the basic facilities for appropriate training to start the program. Such training and workshops will be useful for the safety of the industry and commercial organisations.
