New Delhi/Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, inaugurated Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 on Monday with an integrity pledge ceremony at its administrative building.

The ceremony was held at 11 am in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, with employees across RINL's offices and production units taking the pledge to uphold transparency, accountability, integrity and ethical conduct in their official responsibilities.

The pledge was administered in Telugu, Hindi and English to ensure wider participation and understanding among employees.

Observed from October 26 to November 1, Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 carries the theme ‘Probity for Prosperity’, highlighting the importance of honesty, integrity and ethical governance in promoting organisational excellence and national prosperity.

Through the week-long observance, RINL aims to reinforce ethical practices, strengthen transparency and accountability, and foster a culture of integrity across all levels of the organisation.
