As part of the celebrations, RINL undertook a mega plantation drive, planting 500 saplings of fruit-bearing and flowering species across four locations covering nearly one hectare within the township and plant production zones. The initiative was aimed at promoting green cover and reinforcing the company's commitment to environmental stewardship.

The celebrations culminated in a valedictory function held at Tenneti Viswanadham Auditorium in Ukkunagaram, where employees took an Environment Protection Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to preserving nature, protecting the environment, and adopting sustainable practices.

Addressing the gathering, RINL Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) MNVS Prabhakar stressed the importance of safeguarding the environment for future generations. He described trees as nurturing entities that sustain life by providing oxygen, food, shade, and ecological balance.

Prabhakar called upon employees and citizens alike to respect, protect, and nurture trees, while appreciating the efforts of individuals involved in plantation and environmental conservation activities.
