The award has been presented during the Consulting Engineers Association of India (CEAI) Annual Conference & Awards 2025 held in New Delhi. RITES’ Director (Technical) Dr Deepak Tripathi and Executive Director Lalit Kumar received the honour on behalf of the company.

RITES served as a key consultancy partner for the USBRL project, delivering a wide range of engineering services across some of the most challenging Himalayan terrain. Its scope of work included alignment design, detailed surveys for critical stretches, and the design and proof-checking of 20 bridges. The company also conducted technical audits for 25 bridges, including the landmark Chenab Bridge and Anji Khad Bridge, and installed structural health monitoring systems for two vital structures.

The recognition underscores RITES’ focus on engineering excellence, innovation and sustainable design practices, and its contribution to advancing national connectivity through world-class infrastructure development.
