RITES bags EPC World Award for Ahmedabad Metro Phase-II project

New Delhi: RITES Limited has been honoured at the EPC World Awards for its contribution to urban infrastructure, the company said in a statement.

The award recognises RITES’ role as General Consultant in the execution of the Ahmedabad Metro Phase-II project, a key urban transit initiative connecting Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and strengthening public transport infrastructure.

Spanning 28.26 km, the metro corridor is a significant addition to the region’s mass transit network and is expected to improve ease of commute while promoting sustainable urban mobility. The project is also poised to reduce traffic congestion and encourage a shift towards efficient and environment-friendly transportation systems.
