Rourkela: Daksha – An awareness programme for the contract labour working in SAIL's Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) was recently held at HRDC. 37 contract workers working in different departments of RSP attended this programme.

The programme aimed at making the contract labour aware of safety practices to be adopted and also enhance their skills. A session was conducted on General Safety. In another session organised on the theme 'Working at RSP for RSP,' topics like self-development, Interpersonal relationship, discipline, working conditions, SOPs, SMPs, teamwork, welfare amenities and different motivational schemes etc were dealt with.

The event was coordinated by SK Sukula, Junior Officer, HRD.
