New Delhi: The Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) organised a high-level leadership session titled ‘Leadership in Uncertain Times’ featuring globally renowned business advisor and bestselling author Ram Charan.

The session, held as part of Public Sector Day celebrations, was conducted in the presence of K.P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman, SCOPE and CMD of NBCC (India) Limited, along with Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE.
The event witnessed participation from distinguished stakeholders across the public sector ecosystem, including members of Public Enterprises Selection Board, senior officials from various ministries and government departments such as the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), SCOPE Executive Board members, as well as CMDs and Directors of Central Public Sector Enterprises.
Addressing the gathering, Ram Charan shared insights on navigating complexities in an evolving global economic landscape and emphasised the need for leaders to leverage uncertainty as an opportunity for institutional growth and resilience. He outlined a strategic framework for decision-making during volatile times, encouraging leaders to focus on key questions—identifying the drivers of change, understanding the rationale behind such shifts, and analysing emerging patterns.

The session also featured an interactive segment, where the speaker engaged with participants on critical aspects such as strengthening human resource identification, managing perceptions, fostering adaptive leadership, and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
