Swachhta Pakhwada commences at Coal India

During Swachhta Pakhwada various activities have been planned to promote cleanliness and spread awareness about the importance and benefits of hygiene

New Delhi: Swachhta Pakhwada commenced at Coal India Limited (CIL) with its Chairman PM Prasad administering swachhta pledge to employees at the company’s corporate office in Kolkata. Prasad also inaugurated a kiosk for collecting e-waste for recycling and flagged off a ‘Swachhta Rath’, which will traverse the city to collect e-waste.

Coal India's Director (Personnel & IR) Vinay Ranjan, Director (Technical) Dr B Veera Reddy, Director (Business Development) Debasish Nanda, Director (Marketing) Mukesh Choudhary and Director (Finance) Mukesh Agrawal were present on the occasion.

The Pakhwada will continue till June 30, and various activities have been planned to promote cleanliness and spread awareness about the importance and benefits of hygiene.
