BBE Recruitment 2020: Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), a statutory body under the Ministry of Power, has released a job notification for the engagement of Consultants in various capacities on a contract basis. Retired officers of the government and CPSUs candidates are eligible for the vacancies. The last date for application is September 25.

Total vacancies: 5 posts

Age limit: The applicant should not have attained the age of more than 63 years on the closing date of application and should be in good health for discharging his official duties effectively.

Tenure: Period of engagement will be initially for one year the date of He/She joins the office, which can be extended or curtailed at age discretion of the Competent Authority.

Remuneration: The Consultant shall be paid remuneration as per the government rules subject to a maximum amount of Rs 80,000/- month. The mandatory deduction, if any, will be made. The remuneration for services rendered in a month shall be payable in the subsequent month.

Experience

For Consultant (Act & Legislative Matter):

  • Candidates should have experience of legislative drafting and procedures involved for forming and notifying legislative documents.
  • Candidates should have experience of working in the Department of Legislative Affairs or similar organisation for a minimum period of three years at the level of Deputy Secretary/Director handling legal drafting and other legislative matters.

For Consultant (Communication & Media):

  • Candidates should have experience of working in the communication & media sector in the Ministries/Department of government or PSUs.
  • Candidates should have experience as Deputy Secretary/Director in the Ministry or Department for a minimum period of three years or the equivalent thereof in the CPSUs for handling media/ social media activities, creating bytes, advertisements, annual reports etc.

Consultant (Services & Establishment Matters):

  • Candidates should have experience of working in services & establishment matters in the ministries/departments of the government.
  • Candidates should have experience of the previous working as Deputy Secretary/Director in DoPT or similar organisation for handling Service/Establishment matters for a minimum period of three years.
  • Candidates should have knowledge experience of E-office, MS Office Tools (Word/PowerPoint/Excel etc.)

Consultant (Procurement, Budget & Finance)

  • Candidates should have experience of working in the procurement area including budget & Finance in the Ministries/Department of government or PSUs and experience in e-procurement. 
  • Experience as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry/Department or equivalent thereof in the CPSUs, in matters related to procurement including budget & finance for a minimum period of three years.
  • Knowledge or experience of E-Office, MS Office tools (Word/PowerPoint/ Excel etc.)

Consultant (International Corporation)

  • Candidates should have working experience in the area of the international Cooperation in Ministries/Department of the Government CPSUs.
  • Candidates should have experience of the previous working as Deputy Secretary/Under Secretary in the Ministry/Department or the equivalent thereof in CPSUs handling matters in the area of International Corporation, Protocol and other related issues for a minimum period of three years.
  • Candidates should have knowledge/experience of E-Office, MS Office Tools (Word/PowerPoint/Excel etc.)
