Ministry of Power Recruitment: Ministry of Power (MoP) has posted a job vacancy for the engagement of Member (Planning) in the Central Electricity Authority (CEA). Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the job before May 1, 2021.

Pay scale:  Rs 37,400/- 67,000/- per month

Maximum age limit: 58 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications

Educational qualification

According to the notification, the Member (Planning) of CEA shall be a person, who has held as Chief Engineer or equivalent or higher post on a regular basis for at least five years under the Central government or state government.

Candidates who have held as Chief Engineer or equivalent or higher post under a State Electricity Board or a semi-government organisation or PSU or autonomous body or a statutory body or a university or IIT or IIM on a regular basis for a period of five years are also eligible for the job.

Experience: Minimum of three years' field experience in the relevant field

Duration of service

The appointment of Member (Planning) in CEA shall be on deputation/short-term contract basis for a period of five years, subjects to the condition that service shall not be extended beyond the date of superannuation.
