BVFCL recruitment 2020: Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL), a PSU under the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemical and Fertilizers, has invited job applications for Director (Production). Eligible candidates can apply before March 9. The post is vacant since October 15, 2019.

Director (Production) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He/She acts as the head of the Production/Operations Division of the company. His/Her principal responsibility is to exercise control for the efficient operations of the plants of the company in a manner which would ensure optimum utilization of resources.

Pay scale: Rs 65,000/- Rs 75,000/- (IDA)

Age Limit: Minimum age limit 40 years and age of superannuation 60 years

The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:-

(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);

(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the union and all India services;

(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 750 crore or more;

(d) Private Sector in a company where the annual turnover is *Rs 750 crore or more. Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.

(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)

Qualifications

The applicant should be an Engineering graduate with a good academic record from a recognised university or institution. Applicants holding an MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in management will have an added advantage.

Experience

The applicant should possess adequate technical/operational experience at a senior level in a large organization of repute, out of which at least two years during the last ten years should have been in major production units in Fertilizers or Chemicals or Petrochemicals sector.
