GRSE Recruitment 2024: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE), a premier public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has announced a job vacancy for Director (Corporate Planning & Personnel) post. Elgible and interested candidates can apply for the job before December 2025. The post will fall vacant on May 1, 2025.
Role and Responsibilities
The appointed Director will serve as a member of the Board of Directors, reporting directly to the Chairman and Managing Director. Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing corporate and marketing strategies.
Assessing capacity utilization and exploring diversification opportunities.
Managing organisational planning, performance appraisals, and industrial relations.
Overseeing infrastructure upgrades and estate management.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Age: Minimum 45 years, with specific residual service conditions.
2. Qualifications:
Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical, Naval Architecture, or Marine Engineering.
Desirable: Postgraduate credentials in Personnel Management, HR, or MBA/PGDM.
3. Experience:
A minimum of five years of cumulative experience in the shipbuilding or related sectors over the past decade.
Preference for candidates with corporate planning or HR expertise.
4. Employment Status: Applicants must be in regular employment with CPSEs, SPSEs, or large private companies with a turnover exceeding Rs. 2,000 crore.
Application Process
Applications must be submitted online via the PESB website by December 25, 2024. The process requires endorsements from appropriate authorities, depending on the candidate's employment sector.
Selection and Appointment
The appointment, subject to PESB guidelines, will be for a term of five years or until the candidate’s superannuation. Shortlisted candidates will undergo an interview process, and the Board reserves the right to limit the pool of applicants.
