HSCC Recruitment 2022: HSCC (India) Limited has posted a job vacancy for the post of Director (Engineering) through the PESB portal. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the job before August 16. The post will fall vacant on March 1.

The Director (Engineering) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chief Executive of the Company. The Director (Engineering) will be responsible for planning, monitoring, execution and implementation of various projects.

Pay scale: Rs 1,20,000 – Rs 2,80,000 (IDA)

Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 45 years and the age of superannuation is 60 years

The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale will be one year for internal candidates, and two years for others as on the date of the vacancy.

Employment Status

The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:-

(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 500 crore or more;
(d) Private Sector in the company where the annual turnover is *Rs 500 crore or more.

(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)

Educational Qualifications

The applicants should be Civil Engineering graduates with a good academic record from a recognised university or institute.

Applicants with MBA or PGDM qualifications will have added advantages.

Work experience

The applicant should have at least five years of cumulative experience or exposure in project planning or execution or monitoring and implementation of large value PMC or EPC Projects in the building or construction sector during the last 10 years in an organisation of repute.

Experience in consultancy or technology or projects in areas like health care infrastructure, and construction of large Hospitals and Medical Colleges is desirable.

Note (i) Applicants from Central Government or All India Services should be holding a post of the level of Deputy Secretary in the Government of India or carrying an equivalent scale of pay on the date of application.

(ii) Applicants from the Armed forces of the Union should be holding a post of the level of Lieutenant Colonel in the Army or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force on the date of application.

Applicants from State Public Sector Enterprises or Private Sector should be working at Board level position or at least a post of the level immediately below the Board level on the date of application.

Duration of the appointment

The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or up to the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
