NTPC Recruitment 2020: NTPC Limited is looking for promising, dedicated, energetic young Graduate Engineers with brilliant academic records to join the organisation as Engineering Executive Trainees in disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics/Instrumentation through GATE-2020. Eligible candidates can apply before July 7.

Number of vacancies

Electrical: 30
Mechanical: 45
Electronics/Instrumentation: 25

Age limit: Upper age limit is 27 years as on the last date of online application

Qualifications

Full-time bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks, as per respective institute or university norms. Final year/semester students are also eligible to apply, subject to obtaining at least 65% marks in engineering degree. A candidate with the prescribed degree identified for the disciplines as given below can only apply for the post of EET in the respective discipline.

Selection Process

Eligible candidates must have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) – 2020. Based on the GATE-2020 marks and requirement, candidates will be shortlisted for the further selection process (GD and Interview). The final merit list will be prepared on 85% weightage of GATE-2020 marks, 5% weightage of GD marks and 10% weightage of interview marks. However, candidates have to qualify separately in GD & Interview, Please note that for ET-2020 recruitment, GATE marks of 2020 will only be valid.
