New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Ajit Kumar Panda for the appointment as Director (Project & Services) of Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Panda has been appointed to the post for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Presently, he is serving as Executive Director in Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL).

Earlier, PSU Watch had reported that Panda was recommended for the post of Director (Project & Services) of CONCOR by the PESB panel. He was selected for the post from the list of four candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on July 26.
