Anupam Ban appointed as Director (Personnel) in RVNL

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Anupam Ban for the post of Director (Personnel) in RVNL Limited on Thursday

New Delhi: The Central Government on Thursday approved the appointment of Anupam Ban for the post of Director (Personnel) of RVNL Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Railways. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Railways for the appointment of Ban. He has been appointed to the post for a period with effect from the date of her assumption of charge of the post till the date of her superannuation i.e October 31, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (HRD) in the same organisation.

Anupam was recommended for the post of Director (Personnel) by the PESB panel on November 2, 2022. He was selected for the post from a list of four candidates who were interviewed by the selection panel.

RVNL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Indian Railways. The company is involved in building the rail infrastructure required by the railways.
