Balmer Lawrie gets new Director (Service Business)

Adhipnath Palchaudhuri is currently serving as Vice President in Balmer Lawrie & Company Limited, has been recommended for the new post by a PESB panel

New Delhi: Adhipnath Palchaudhuri is set to be new Director (Service Business) in Balmer Lawrie & Company Limited, a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. Palchaudhuri's name has been recommended by a Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday. He is currently serving as Vice President in the same organisation.

Palchaudhuri will be taking charge after necessary clearances in February 2020. The incumbent director K Swaminathan is superannuating in January 2020. Palchaudhuri has been selected from the list of 10 candidates who were interviewed in the selection meeting. A total of six candidates who were on the list were from the Balmer Lawrie and others were from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), Indian Railways Service of Electrical Engineering and one who was in the list was from the Indian Army.
