Bank of Maharashtra changes record date for payment of dividend

The Board of the Bank of Maharashtra has now decided to change the Record Date for the payment of dividend from June 2 to May 23

New Delhi: State-owned Bank of Maharashtra said in a regulatory filing that the Board of Directors had fixed June 2 as the Record date for the purpose of payment of dividends on the equity shares to be declared in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on June 9.

"The Board of the Bank has now decided to change the Record Date from June 2 to May 23," the filing noted.

Further, it added, "Dividend, if declared at the AGM shall be paid to those shareholders, whose names appear in the Bank's Register of Members/ Register of Beneficial Owners maintained by the Depositories viz., National Securities Depository Limited and Central Depository Services (India) Limited as at the close of business hours on Tuesday, May 23, 2023."
