BHEL’s CVO Alok Ranjan gets tenure extension

New Delhi: Alok Ranjan (IPS; MP), who is currently serving as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), has given tenure extension on his post. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), his services, as CVO of BHEL, has been extended for a period of two years beyond April 2, i.e. up to April 2, 2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Ranjan is a 1991 batch Indian Police Services (IPS) officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre. He is serving as CVO of BHEL since March 4, 2017. In addition to this, he had served as CVO of Bharat Pumps and Compressors Limited (BPCL), Allahabad.
