CIL organises workshop on cyber laws & cyber security

New Delhi: Coal India Limited (CIL) organised a workshop on cyber security and cyber laws in Kolkata as a part of National Cyber Security Awareness month on October 28. The programme intended to increase awareness related to cyber security, and best practices and also emphasised on the importance of teamwork in preventing online fraud and attacks.

Dr. Sai Satish, an ethical hacker, and cyber security expert was the keynote speaker and spoke on phishing attacks, passwords and authentication, mobile device security, public wi-fi, social media use, internet, and email use. The keynote speaker is the founder & CEO of Indian Servers, and the administrator of Andhrahackers which is the top hacking awareness forum in India. He is also a cyber cops' trainer and author of the best-selling book, 'Hacking secrets'. He has delivered lectures on at many educational institutes like IITs, IIMs, and 350+ engineering colleges on trending technologies.

Rakesh, ED – Information & Communication Technology, Ranjeet Kumar Ghosh, GM – Systems, CIL and A K Pandey, HoD – E&T, CIL participated and spoke on the occasion.
